›Fleshcrawl - Structures Of Death

cover

Fleshcrawl is a band i have been very fond of for some time. They have released consistentley good albums for over a decade now with their 1996 album bloodsoul being one of my favourite albums of all time. In truth I feel they are very underated in this country but have great credentials such as touring with bands as massive as Vader and Hypocrisy and at venues such as the world famous Wacken. In 2005 Bass player Tobias Schick left and in 2006 various personal problems hit members of the band and i could not see this album coming out but it has and of receiving it have been licking my lips with great anticipation of listening to it

This album is quality throughout and never lets down. it is very fine old school death metal with an even thrashier sound to them compared to what i have heard before. stand out tracks Structures of death and Into the crypts of scatterd souls delivers a hefty portion of brutal melodies which will guarantee to make your necks sore come the end of it. I enjoy this album a lot but the only downfall of it is that the songs are rather similar to each other but when they are this good does that really matter. This album could be in contention as one of the best old school death metal albums this year. They have a sound which is both old yet slightly new and oh yes true brutality?

this album could be in contention as one of the best old school death metal albums this year. They have a sound which is both old yet slightly new and oh yes true brutality! It is catchy hard as hell and sounds like a hammer to the head but you will always be asking for more

Buy this album if you like your Death Metal old school, heavy and unforgiving.

piraterobs rating 8/10 Worthy of 9 if tracks were not too similar
