About Us!

Well, first of all, thank you very much for coming to see us all here at Headbang!!! As you may have gathered, we, unlike many of these oh-so-elite webzines, embrace many elements of the rock and metal scenes. We appreciate the wideness of this genre, and we hope to have something here which will appeal right across the board!!

As well as monthly articles from a whole host of extremely talented writers, all of whom are dedicated to delivering work of the highest standards, we at Headbang incorporate a forum, a "community" so to speak, where fellow headbangers can get together and discuss a range of topics, from the 'zine itself, to music tastes, to.. well, pretty much anything!!!

Please bear in mind, however, that we don't judge or discriminate here, in any way, shape or form, so please keep your racial, religious or elitist opinions to yourself, in order to make this a fantastic environment for us all.

You may be thinking "What makes us different from any other metal webzine?" Well, Headbang strives to be different from the rest, by bringing you only the very best work our volunteers produce, and every single one of our writers is an avid fan of the genre, making it so that here everybody is an equal. We're not a self-righteous organisation which is trying to control the "scene." We're all here because we want to give something back to the artists we love, and to share our passion with like-minded fans.

So, enjoy the 'zine, sign up on the forum, send us your suggestions and most importantly:

Keep headbanging!!!!!

› Help HeadBang

The HeadBang team produces this publication because we enjoy it, because it really does help up and coming bands and because it offers a great alternative to more mainstream and commercial mags and zines. But HeadBang does have some costs to cover so please click our links - if you are going to but tickets for Bloodstock please do so by clicking the ads on this site or on the forum. It will cost you no more but the commission will help us carry on and hopefully go from strength to strength.

› Bands, Managers, Promoters & Record Companies

If you are anything to do with a band, or organising gigs, festivals etc, then this is your chance to help us and return for us to help you. We always need material to review whether its CDs or live gigs, we have a need for interviews and will be happy to feature forthcoming events. Just hit the contact us button at the side of the page. HeadBang is not the biggest publication (yet) but we are growing steadily and gaining a plaudits for the quality of the content. Our reviews have already been used by a number of bands in publicity and in negotiations for record deals etc.
